How we process your personal data under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), GP METAL MADENCİLİK İÇ VE DIŞ TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (“GP METAL” or the “Company”), as data controller, informs you how your personal data is processed.

2. Categories of personal data
- Identity: name, surname, job title, company.
- Contact: e-mail, phone number, address.
- Customer transactions: quotation requests, orders, shipments and correspondence.
- Transaction security: IP address, browser information, access and log records.
- Marketing / cookies: cookie preferences and — only with your consent — site usage statistics.
3. Purposes of processing
- Handling quotations, orders and supply processes; entering into and performing contracts,
- Responding to your requests, questions and complaints,
- Fulfilling commercial, financial and tax obligations,
- Ensuring the security and operation of the website,
- Measuring and improving site usage, if you consent,
- Responding to requests from competent authorities.
4. Legal grounds
Your data is processed on the grounds set out in Article 5(2) KVKK: necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation (ç), establishment, exercise or protection of a right (e), and our legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights (f). Analytics and marketing cookies are used only on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 5(1)), which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Method of collection
Data is collected via e-mail, phone, WhatsApp, this website, our social media accounts, trade fairs and meetings, by partly automated (cookies, server logs) and non-automated means.
6. Transfers
Limited to the purposes above, data may be shared with our hosting and e-mail providers, accountants and legal advisers, logistics and customs partners, banks and competent public authorities.
If you consent to analytics cookies, usage data may be transferred abroad to Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. servers through Google Analytics. This transfer relies on your explicit consent under Article 9 KVKK; you can stop it by changing your cookie preferences.
7. Retention
Personal data is kept for the period required by law or by the purpose of processing and then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Cookie consent records are kept for 3 years as proof of consent, with IP addresses truncated (masked).
8. Your rights (Article 11 KVKK)
- Learn whether your data is processed and request information about it,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred,
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- Request deletion or destruction under Article 7,
- Request that third parties be notified of such correction or deletion,
- Object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
- Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
9. How to apply
You may submit your request in writing with proof of identity to the address above (in person or via notary), or from an e-mail address registered with us to gulseren@gpmaden.com. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
